Andrew Chappell doesn’t do much the easy way. Born in Dallas, Texas and now rooted in Boise, Idaho, he built his sound the long way around… cutting his teeth in dive bars, honky-tonks, breweries, and roadside rooms where nothing is handed to you. That’s where his style took shape: raw, unvarnished country with the pulse of heartland rock and the grit of a life lived out loud.
His music spans from the soul-bearing debut album Loneliness and Whiskey (2020) to 2024’s Reckless EP, featuring fan favorites “I’m All In” and “Whiskey to Burn.” His collaboration with Dave Nudo on “I’m All In” earned the duo the Josie Music Award for Vocal Event of the Year (2025), a career-defining moment accepted on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Recent singles like “Dyin’ to Forget,” “Yella Lines,” “Crawl Out of This Bottle,” and “Just One More…” continue to showcase his blend of honest storytelling and no-frills country grit.
Chappell plays close to 200 shows a year, solo, in duo performances, or with his band, The Bitterroot Revival. His relentless touring and dedication earned him the International Singer Songwriter Association’s Emerging Artist of the Year (2024), along with multiple ISSA nominations for Male Vocalist, Songwriter, Entertainer, and Male Single of the Year.
More music is on the way, shaped by the same stubborn independence that’s defined his entire career. No shortcuts. No polish that doesn’t belong. Just songs that hit, songs that hurt, and songs that stick.
